LAPD Officer Sentenced To Probation On Employee Time Theft Allegation – CBS Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – A Los Angeles police officer was convicted Wednesday of time theft at work.

Monica Renee Moore was accused of falsely reporting that she was at work 18 times between April 2017 and October 2018, and received wages of $ 8,543 for those hours.

The 48-year-old officer made no objection to the offense charges.

She repaid the $ 8,543 and was sentenced to 20 days of Caltrans labor and three years probation.

Moore will also have to leave the LAPD, the Los Angeles District Attorney said.
