The lawsuit filed against Advantis Medical Staffing, LLC alleges that the company did not (a) pay minimum wages, (b) pay overtime wages, (c) did not specify required meal times, (d) did not provide required rest periods, (e) did not have given precise detailed information, (f) have not paid wages on the due date and (g) have not reimbursed the necessary costs to the employees, all of which violates the applicable sections of the Labor Code, which are listed in the sections of the Labor Code §§ 201, 202, 203, 226, 226.7, 510, 512, 1194, 1197, 1197.1, 2802 and the applicable wage regulation (s) and thereby leads to civil sanctions due to such alleged behavior.
The complaint further alleges that Advantis Medical Staffing, LLC violated California's unfair competition law, Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §§ 17200 ff. (The "UCL") through a company-wide guideline and a company-wide procedure, in which the correct overtime rate for the overtime worked by PLAINTIFF and others was not exactly calculated and recorded CALIFORNIA CLASS members. As a result of the deliberate disregard of the obligation to cover this burden from DEFENDANT, DEFENDANT allegedly did not properly calculate and / or pay all necessary overtime compensation for the work done by the members of the EU CALIFORNIA CLASS and violated California Labor Law.
