Californian Attorney General Xavier Becerra has given preliminary approval on Friday for the sale of a $ 350 million nonprofit hospital in Los Angeles.
In a letter from Thursday, Becerra (D) explained the terms of the sale of St. Francis Medical Center, a medical facility in Lynwood, California, owned by Verity Health System, to Prime Healthcare Services in Ontario, California.
"The Covid-19 public health crisis has shown the importance of having access to life-saving hospital care close to our communities," Becerra said in a press release Friday.
